The trail starts at the parking lot in Ramzova. From there, follow the red hiking trail that passes by the lower cable car station and continues uphill along the ski slope. The path ascends through forested and open sections, gradually revealing the first views of the surrounding landscape.
Next, you’ll enjoy a pleasant walk through the forest, passing by the Dobra Voda spring and a small chapel hidden among the trees. The trail continues all the way to Cernava, where you’ll find the cable car transfer station and a junction of hiking trails.
If you’re unsure about your strength halfway through the route, you can buy a ticket at Cernava and comfortably continue the rest of the way to the summit by cable car.
Next, you’ll face a more challenging section — an approximately 2.5 km trail to the Serak trail junction. The path leads through rocky terrain with an elevation gain of about 250 meters, ascending along the slopes of Mracna moutain. Although this part is physically demanding, it rewards you with beautiful views and an authentic mountain atmosphere.
At the Serak trail junction, we recommend continuing along the ridge to Keprnik, which is the main peak of this route. Afterward, on your way back from Keprnik, you can stop at Serak.
From the signpost, a more demanding section awaits you, with an elevation gain of about 150 meters along a rocky path.
This is the fourth highest peak of the Hruby Jesenik Mountains, rising to an elevation of 1,423 meters above sea level. Its summit is marked by a distinctive frost-resistant mountain shelter. On clear days, breathtaking views of the Jeseniky range and distant mountain ranges unfold before you.
Serak and Keprnik are peaks whose names are also used for local beers from the Holba brewery. The uniqueness of these beers lies primarily in a special ingredient — mountain hops, which are hand-picked in selected mountainous areas of the Jeseniky region.
On the way back, you will return to the trail junction, from where you can head to Serak and Jiri's Chalet. From there, you’ll enjoy a beautiful view overlooking Jesenik and the surrounding landscape—an ideal spot to rest and refresh before the descent.
