⚠️ Warning! Winter conditions in the mountains do not ease even in May. There is 10–30 cm of snow on the ridges.
Our route starts in Ramzova at one of the available parking lots. In winter, due to the ski area, there is a greater likelihood of being busy. You can park in a large paid parking lot, or if you drive further, you will have free parking.
The route will then continue towards the ski slope, up a relatively steep hill. From here you will follow the red tourist sign all the time.
Then you will cross the slope. Please be very careful when crossing and choose a suitable time when there are as few skiers as possible on the slope.
Then you will have a route of about a kilometer to the Nad Dobrou vodou signpost. You will walk through a beautiful forest, past a magical chapel and the spring of Dobra voda.
From the Nad Dobrou vodou signpost, you will walk less than a kilometer to Cernava, or to the cable car.
From Cernava you will proceed, about 2.5 kilometers, to the Serak signpost. The route will lead along the slopes of Mracna hora (1272 m above sea level), from where, in beautiful weather, there are beautiful views of Jeleni stran, the valley of the Klepacovsky brook, Trojak (1050 m above sea level) or Vozka (1377 m above sea level).
From the Serak signpost, I recommend first visiting the highest peak of this trip, i.e. Keprnik (1423 m above sea level) and then down the hill, back to Serak, this time to the cottage.
In the direction of Keprnik, at the signpost Pod Keprnikem, you will go uphill, i.e. straight.
The route to Keprnik has an elevation gain of about 150 meters, so you can pedal uphill. At the top there is a viewpoint from which there is a beautiful view. In really beautiful weather, you can see Kralicky Sneznik or even the Krkonose.
From Keprnik, you will head back to the Serak signpost, from where you will walk less than 300 meters and reach the tourist cottage.
